Dachgold e.U. operates the marketplace as organiser: it collects expressions of interest, calculates the matching, proposes partners, accompanies the parties to the direct supply contract and handles settlement. Dachgold e.U. is neither an electricity supplier nor an electricity trader. Direct supply contracts under § 68 of the Austrian Electricity Industry Act (ElWG) are concluded directly between producer and offtaker.
