What this website does not do

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and embeds no content from advertising networks or social networks. Fonts, images and scripts are hosted on the website's own server and are not loaded from third parties. No usage profiles are created.

Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and delivered via its content delivery network, which also has locations in the EU. When a page is accessed, Netlify processes, as technically necessary, the IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the browser type and the referring page. This data is stored briefly in server log files and is not merged with other data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify is bound as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR; transfers to the USA are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR), which form part of the data processing agreement with Netlify. Details: netlify.com/privacy.

Expression of interest via the form

When you submit the form on the home page, we process the details you enter there: role (offtaker, producer, both or roof space without installation), company, name, e-mail address, optionally phone number, annual volumes of grid consumption and grid feed-in, technology and capacity of the installation, location, end date of the existing supply or feed-in contract and your remarks. Only role, company, name and e-mail address are mandatory.

The purpose of processing is handling your expression of interest: we count your volumes towards the starting size of the marketplace, check whether your business fits the pool and get back to you with an assessment. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We publish volumes only in aggregate across all interested parties, without naming companies.

The form is technically received by Netlify Forms, stored there and forwarded to office@dachgold.at. To protect against automated submissions, the form uses a hidden field (honeypot); no third-party CAPTCHA service is embedded. If your browser cannot submit the form, your e-mail program opens with a prepared message instead; in that case we process only what you actually send us.

We store the data of your expression of interest until the end of the first round of the marketplace, at the latest until 31 December 2027, unless a contract or further cooperation requires longer retention or statutory retention obligations apply. You can request deletion at any time.

Letter of intent and load profiles

In the second stage, the letter of intent, we receive from you metering point identifiers and 15-minute values of your installations, either as a file or through your release to your grid operator via the Austrian energy data exchange (EDA, market partner Dachgold e.U., EDA identifier EP100531). We use this data exclusively for the matching calculation, determining the pool size and preparing a partner proposal for you. We do not disclose metering point data or 15-minute values to other participants; a partner proposal contains only annual volume, profile type and grid area. The legal basis is the letter of intent itself (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can revoke the release at any time; the data is then deleted as soon as no ongoing calculation depends on it.

Use of AI-assisted tools

For analysing 15-minute values, searching for matching generation and consumption profiles and preparing partner proposals we use AI-assisted analysis tools, including services from providers based outside the EU. We do not pass company names, personal names or contact details to these tools, only metering point identifiers and measured values in pseudonymised form. The link to your company remains with us. Every partner proposal is reviewed by us before it reaches you; there is no automated decision within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR with legal effect on you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an efficient and traceable matching calculation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) within the processing agreed with you. Where data is transferred to third countries in this process, this is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses with the respective provider.

Appointment booking

The link "Book an appointment" leads to Calendly, a service of Calendly LLC, 115 E Main St, Ste A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA. By clicking it you leave our website; Calendly is not embedded on peer2peer.digital. Calendly's privacy policy applies to the booking, calendly.com/privacy. We receive the data entered there (name, e-mail address, chosen slot, optional remarks) in order to hold the call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

E-mail and phone

If you write to us or call us, we process your details to handle the enquiry and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). E-mails are processed via the mailboxes of Dachgold e.U.; e-mail correspondence is retained in line with the statutory retention periods for business correspondence where it concerns business transactions, and otherwise deleted once dealt with.

Disclosure to third parties

We pass on your data only as far as necessary for the purposes described: to Netlify as hosting and form provider, to the providers described under AI tools in pseudonymised form, to your grid operator within the release you granted and, after the start decision, to the software partner for settlement and market communication, with whom a data processing agreement is in place. There is no disclosure for advertising purposes.

Your rights

You have the right of access to the data stored about you, and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw any consent or release granted at any time with effect for the future. Please contact office@dachgold.at.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

Changes

We adapt this policy when the website or the processing changes, for example with the launch of the settlement platform. The version published here applies. This English version is provided for convenience; in case of doubt, the German version prevails.
